Dyno at the wheels on a 2019 500 exc is 41hp@ 7800 rpm 29.51 lbs torque and at 6690 rpm.The 2019 xc450 on same Dyno at the wheels at Dyno Jet is 52.4 HP @ 10100 rpm and 33.2 lbs torque at 6800 rpm. as you can see the 500 is 11 hp shy and less torque , The big kicker is the 500 hits rev limiter all day long and kills track speed , The 450 holds much more track speed due to the high RPM.

So, I have a 2019 on order (likely to be delivered in August). From looking around in this forum the two big concerns I readily see are evaporator coils and engine tick issues (can't say that I understand the issue there). I'm not sure if I'm missing other big, observed issues.
